Askum

Askum (DOB 2006) is a buff and with white markings cocker boy. Askum was born deaf and he is starting to lose his eyesight. His owner had to give him up because her bigger dog, which is a puppy, was beating him up and the owner felt that he was too old for this rough treatment. He is a wiggle butt and loves to give kisses. He rolls over when you pet him and loves attention. He loves to sleep in bed on the pillow next to you. He loves car rides. Baxley

Hey everyone, I’m Baxley (DOB 2011) and I love toys! Here’s my story: Animal Control Services captured me. They found me on the road dragging a chain behind me that was embedded in my ear. I don't know why people tie us dogs up at all - and certainly not by the ears! It was so sad. My life was rough, y'all. But guys, let me just tell you that after a few weeks in the shelter I had a great prison-break moment when a local rescue paid for me to get out and go to the vet. FCSR agreed to take me in. It was like magic! I get along very well with other dogs. I’m totally ready for my furever home! Oh, and did I mention that I love toys?!? Please complete your application at www.floridacocker.org. For more details, call 813-245-1833 or contact info@floridacocker.org.

Baxter and Barney

These handsome boys are Baxter and Barney. (DOB July 2009). Baxter is white with black spots (the one with the red bandana) and Barney is black and white merle. Baxter lost his right eye when he was very young. Baxter and Barney’s mom brought them from the UK, but works very long hours, does not know anyone that can help and cannot afford to pay for dog walkers. She cared for them very well and loved them very much, but understood that the best thing for them was to be surrendered to us in order to find them the perfect home. They boys are understandably very bonded, so they are only available as a pair. They are very people friendly and dog friendly, too! If you are interested in adopting Baxter and Barney, please complete your application at www.floridacocker.org. For more details, call 813-245-1833 or contact info@floridacocker.org.

Hey FCSR friends, my name is Black Merle, I’m a male cocker spaniel and my DOB feb 4 2014. I am searching for my furever home so let me tell you about myself. I love people & attention. I like other dogs but I don't like to share my food or toys with other dogs. I do have calcified ears; don’t worry it is common for a cocker spaniel to have calcified ears. Another cocker spaniel trait that I have is a little dry eye (just need some Puralube in my eyes, it only $6-7 a tube) besides that I am healthy. How about it? Could I be the boy you are searching for? Please complete your application at www.floridacocker.org. For more details, call 813-245-1833 or contact info@floridacocker.org.

Now, Egor has developed a full cataract in one eye and the other eye is getting cloudy. He will need to be the only dog. Egor has a lot of trust issues with people and must be handled at his own pace. When put in a crate, Egor needs to be left on a leash in order to get him out.
