Meet Klaus, a black Dachshund-Cocker Spaniel mix born in 2014, who is looking for a second chance at a forever home. Klaus has a story that nearly ended too soon—his previous owner took him to a vet, requesting he be put to sleep after an incident where Klaus bit them. Thankfully, a compassionate vet sent him to animal control for a 10-day hold, where a kind officer saw the sweet and well-behaved dog Klaus truly is. This wonderful little boy has proven to be good with all people he’s met and has shown us nothing but love and good manners. We’re so grateful that the officer reached out to us, giving Klaus the chance to find a new, loving home where he can thrive.
